Everything has been so crazy here all summer, so it might be nice to settle back into a routine. Looking at our calendar, however, fall might fly by even faster than the summer did.
What happens when there is a doggy costume stuffed in the back of the closet that was bought at Target last year on clearance? Well who needs a silly pagan holiday to dress up like an animal? Jonathan has been enjoying it.
In other dress-up news, he has also had an eye on the new pajamas out at Wal-Mart. Of course they are pants and long sleeves, and he didn't really understand why he doesn't really NEED them like he said. He is very interested in the Superman set. Although, I am sure he would settle for the Elmo, Spiderman, or Nemo ones--just in case anyone else has started thinking about Christmas. I'm determined not to let it sneak up on us this year.
Speaking of Christmas--or any other gift-buying occasion for that matter--Justin has spent the last week making an Old Testament commentary wish list. I won't tell you all how much time he actually spent on it. I think he's also discovered that gift certificates to Amazon.com would be a great thing to get as well. Can you say low prices and free shipping? Of course, in the midst of all of the commentary excitement we had to make a trek over to Southeastern to go to the bookstore, so we ended up at Babies R'Us in the process. Let's just say that place has everything you could ever imagine for babies no matter how unnecessary it might be. We did spy a really nice stroller, though. It's a bit pricey, but there's nothing not to like about it.
And just for good measure, here's a pic of the uncooperative little guy this morning.
