Digging Out

OK, so who trashed my house? We spent most of Monday digging out from under the layer of party stuff that had collected over the weekend. Somebody thought it was a good idea to blow up 30 or so balloons and leave them hanging around. I think we're down to maybe 5 now.

We had dinner with friends of ours, Jim and Rachel, from college Monday night. Rachel was my suitemate at Campbell. We lost touch after graduation and it's so cool that they have moved to Nashville now. Jim quickly joined in on the R and R fellowship with Justin. It's amazing how that group has grown in less than a year! Anyway, Jim and Rachel have been working with an adoption agency for a while now, and they have been chosen by a birth mother to adopt a baby boy. They are eagerly awaiting his birth very soon, so say a little prayer that things will go smoothly throughout the rest of the process.

Jonathan has been going to VBS at the church around the block from us this week. It's been good for him to not always have us around. The new pastor there has also become involved with R and R. J has been having fun since apparently they have played with water a lot.

Besides the after-party cleanup, I've mostly been working on new stuff for my Etsy shop. If you haven't discovered Etsy, you should. It's a big site where people from all over the world can set up online shops to sell their handmade items. I can't believe some of the amazing stuff you can find over there. My favorites list is quickly growing!

I hope to be back soon with some photos!
