Aren't you glad you get an extra day?

Well I suppose we don't really get an extra day to do whatever we want when it comes down to it, but I could sure use one. I haven't accomplished much of anything this week because I've spent most of it trying to figure out how my brains got replaced with snot. I'm not sure who gave me the cold I've had, but I'm glad it's mostly decided to move on to someone else.

The little guy has done lots of playing with things he hasn't played with in a while. It's amazing how much fun he can have when we don't let him turn the TV on. He's still obsessed with what comes on when, but at least we have hope.

I'll be digging out from under the piles while the boys head out later today. Their plan is to do some fishing, but I'm not sure how long that will last with the little guy out there. Before they can leave the little man is supposed to be cleaning his room. He doesn't quite get that moving things from the den to his bedroom floor doesn't work in the long run. I better go see how that's coming along...

My name is Tess Powell. I live in Rocky Mount. I happened across your blog after my husband Brandon went to a conference at your church. I was reading about Mount Hermon and found Justin's blog and then yours. I would love to correspond with you about your homeschooling plans. I see information about classical education and we are both reading A Well-Trained Mind. I was also reading about Lay Me Down to Sleep Photography--I have researched that after reading it on another website. I am a Labor and Delivery nurse at Nash General. Maybe we can email. This is my address
