Things went well on Tuesday night I think. My public speaking is definitely a bit rusty, but I don't think that stopped me from talking way too long. It's just one of those things where you wish you could replay it to see just how it all really came out. But then, I'd probably be disappointed if I did that.
So now we just have to drag out all the stuff to get ready for a yard sale on Saturday. Did I mention it's supposed to be 99 degrees? Whose idea was this? The good thing for me is that this is the last thing I have that totally has to be done. then I can lock myself in the house and work on getting things ready around here. I do have a few crafty projects to keep me busy as long as I feel like it.
We've been doing some last-minute wrangling to figure out just what's going to be happening with Jonathan while we're at the hospital, but I think we managed to get it under control. He's starting to get excited about his birthday probably because he's been counting down since Christmas. He likes to keep a good count of just exactly how old he is, and he doesn't hesitate to tell everyone that he's 4 and 11/12. I'll have to share his birthday plans sometime soon, but right now I'm on the lookout for just the right cake.
