...but it was nothing compared to this.
We were blessed to spend last week at a cabin in the mountains with Justin's parents and grandparents. There was lots of hoping for snow, and we did see a dusting of the real stuff while we were there. It wasn't the kind that sticks around, but the kids (big and small) were able to do a bit of sledding on some shaded hills and man-made snow. All in all, we had a fun time.
Everyone here was excited to awake to this site today. This is the view from our living room window.
The grass was barely covered when I got up at 7:30 this morning, but it's been snowing all morning and it's been coming down pretty hard at times. So I imagine Jonathan will finally get to make those snow angels he's been longing for, and there will be lots of cold, wet fun between watching the inaugural events today.
