I have always been drawn to DIY. I mean why spend the big bucks when you can make equally (or more) fabulous yourself? Not too long ago I was link hopping around the blogosphere when I came across tons of great blogs about DIY projects. I've gotten so many ideas, but the hard part is not having time to put them into action. My "someday" list is definitely growing, and I thought I'd share a few of my finds with you.
Holly makes me want to own an air compressor with a paint sprayer and some really ugly wooden furniture. It's amazing what some white paint can do!
The Nester always has great ideas about how we can make our homes a warm and inviting place. And I love that she never worries about getting things perfect.
The DIY showoff is just overwhelming. There are projects collected from tons of different contributors, but it is so fun to see what everyone is doing. It's definitely inspiring!
If you're into serious work on your home, then the Remodeling Guy has lots of inspiration for you as well as a bit of encouragement to get you going.
I don't really have a reason to make one, but I came across this fabulous tutorial for making a play kitchen out of a repurposed night stand.
And I must have been looking at kitchen stuff in the beginning because I bookmarked Edie's amazing kitchen makeover. Now I find myself back over there to read about all sorts of projects and what she's doing with her girls in their homeschool.
I love looking at what everyone else is working on because it gives me so many ideas. Now I just need some time to actually accomplish them. Where do you go for inspiration. Are you working on a project? Just have a link to share? Go right ahead!
