Interested in Classical Education?

Wondering what it is or how it works?

Here is some information about a workshop in Wilson this weekend. There is no pre-registration, so feel free to come if you you're interested--even if you can't stay the whole time.

Need a mid-year makeover for your homeschool?
Want a fresh start for the second half of the school year?
You are invited to a FREE day seminar to help you get that recharge you need. Classical Conversations of Wilson is proud to host David and Lisa Bailey as they share their knowledge and experience about Classical Education and how it is different than other education models out there. David and Lisa have homeschooled for many years and are both Challenge Directors of Classical Conversations. Lisa is also the NC State Manager for Classical Conversations. This FREE day seminar will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Forest Hills Baptist Church in Wilson , NC . Registration begins at 9am. Lisa will start out the morning explaining what the classical model is and how we can make it happen at home. She will also give us applications of the classical model as it pertains to language. In the afternoon, David will give a father/husband perspective of what classical education looks like at home and integration into family life.
This day seminar is open to anyone – just thinking about homeschooling, currently homeschooling, or wants to know more about the Classical Model. If you already know about the Classical Model or are currently using this for your homeschool, you will want to take the time to get some fresh ideas that can help you push through those mid-year blues.
DADs…come join us and learn how as leaders of your house you can contribute to your children’s education. Even if you’re not the primary educator, your role is vital to your family’s homeschooling journey. This seminar will better equip you with the understanding and tools you’ll need to help make your family’s homeschooling experience a success.
