Recipes Worth Trying

Things have been a little crazy around here lately, but one thing is true.  We still have to eat.  I've had a chance to try out a couple of recipes, and there are a few more I'd like to give a shot.

If you're looking for a great (and easy) roast without using a crock pot, then you must try Pioneer Woman's version.  It's super simple, and it tastes great, too.

I have never attempted to make chicken and dumplings from scratch, but the recipe that Edie at Life In Grace shared pushed me over the edge.  It was a little time-consuming, but it received 2 thumbs up from everyone at my house.  I did leave out a couple of minor ingredients because I was too lazy to go to the store.

I really look forward to trying out this recipe for balsamic tilapia from $5 Dinners.  We kind of prefer our fish not to taste so much...well, like fish.

Also, since Thanksgiving will be approaching way too quickly, I have an amazing turkey recipe.  It really is super moist, and my family loved it.

Anyone have a great recipe link to share, or do you have a recipe you're dying to try?

  1. The Turkey recipe you linked to made me laugh! I always cook my chickens the 'wrong' way...breast down! My husband used to tease me about it, but he finally admitted that it made for a much tastier, juicier chicken all around. Sometimes a mistake is a good thing after all! :)
