Pantry Inspiration, Seriously?

When it comes to spaces in my home that are on my "to beautify" list, I don't generally consider my pantry.  I mean, who really sees the inside of my pantry?  It's definitely not a space that I would typically dream about--the colors I'd love to paint it or the accessories I'd love to include.  But I have found myself smiling at all of the pantry makeovers that I've seen pop up on blogs over the last several months.

There is Jen's pretty pennant themed pantry over at Tatertots and Jello.

But I also love what Beth over at The Stories of A to Z did with almost no money.

Then there is the pantry that started it all in my mind.  This is Shelley's pantry from House of Smiths.

Aren't these all so cute?  While I don't think I want to spend time painting and creating special artwork just for my pantry, it has been in need of some major organization for quite some time.  In a few days Grandma will be stealing our boys away to her house for a visit, so I am dreaming about all of the organizational projects I can accomplish while they are away.

I love that there is so much inspiration out in blog land--even for beautiful pantries--because I can still use some of the ideas to make my mess more manageable.  Who knows?  Maybe mine will even end up being a bit prettier in the end.

For now, I'm studying all the ideas, making wish lists for many areas of my home, shopping my house for storage, and trying to finagle an Ikea trip in the near future.

  1. Thanks for the pantry inspiration shout out! I left you a shout out too. Come see.

  2. Yeah, love the tater tots and Jello pantry, she inspired me a while back but I have sooo many other projects. I think a pantry project is coming up though!
