Several times over the last few months I have wanted to write a post or a series of posts about how meal planning can do a lot to shrink your grocery budget. Then I always remember that I am actually a meal planning failure. I do implement a lot of strategies related to meal planning, but when it comes to actually writing down a weekly meal plan and sticking to to I fall flat most of the time.
You see, I think I have this aversion to being pinned down. Part of me doesn't want anyone telling me what I HAVE to cook--even my own list that I made. One of my goals for the coming weeks and months is to get over that. I figure that if I can practice what I preach before I actually preach it, then it will probably have a better impact.
I will be sharing my meal plan here each week starting next week mostly to hold myself accountable. Although, I am hoping it will be an encouragement to some of you and help with meal ideas. I struggle with coming up with ideas sometimes, and I'll be sharing all about that later.
